Who am I
Welcome to my portfolio website!
My name is Joel, I am currently a student finishing the last semester of my Computer Science degree at Western Michigan University. I enjoy playing video games and surfing the internet, as well as making new things.
What do I do
I am currently studying to become a full stack software engineer and am looking for employment to help me gain experience in the industry. I remade this website using nextjs and a backend comprised of; PostgreSQL, Umami Analytics, and hosted with NGINX. Though at the moment the domain is being hosted via cloudflare using cloudflare analytics.
In the future I hope to pursue side projects such as; Building a amateur radio telescope, Building an RF shielded room and using a Software Defined Radio such as the HackRF One Pro to analyze drone RF emissions and examine various jamming techniques, Building a roof mounted astronomical spectroscopy rig controlled by a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W to peer through the atmospheric IR window, and many many more!
